After their debut together at the Kiasma Museum in Helsinki – in the first major exhibition dedicated to the concept that unites them – the Free Standing Joys return to surprise us together in a new setting, this time hosted by the Galeria Municipal do Porto.

In this exhibition, Pauline Curnier Jardin, set designer Rachel Garcia and the Free Standing Joys had to contend with an architecture that challenged the significant size of the works. The resulting landscape unfolds across various scales and atmospheres, creating a new narrative path between the installations.
